We’re thrilled to share that Blue Rock is thriving, and that’s thanks in no small part to your continued support. In an era when so many wines feel mass-produced and impersonal, we remain steadfast in our commitment to authenticity, craftsmanship, and sustainability. It’s been our guiding philosophy for 38 years, and it continues to inspire everything we do. We’re excited for what’s ahead and honored to have you as part of our journey.
Our journey is constantly evolving. We are excited to welcome Wells Guthrie as our new winemaker. Many of you may know Wells as the founder of Copain Wines, where his elegant Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Syrah earned acclaim from top critics and captivated wine lovers across the country.
Wells brings a deep respect for terroir and a refined, European-influenced approach to winemaking, shaped by his time apprenticing with Michel Chapoutier in France’s Rhône Valley. With him at the helm, we’re doubling down on our commitment to crafting vineyard-driven wines that express the true character of Blue Rock and Gapstone vineyards. This marks a new chapter—one rooted in finesse, authenticity, and a passion for place.
We’ve also made some delightful hospitality updates. We welcome Jessica, our new host and a talented pastry chef from Friuli Italy. She’s brought a European touch to our Vintner’s Table lunches and a wonderful charm to our immersive tastings. For a deeper experience, our 3-night Vintner’s Cottage package, with a private dinner, three-course lunch with an immersive property experience, and lodging for 4, is now available exclusively to Ambassadors.
Looking ahead, we’re launching a new initiative with private and social clubs, bringing Blue Rock wines and experiences to their members—and offering them exclusive access when visiting wine country. If you belong to a club, we’d love an introduction!
