We’ve been traveling to wine country several times per year for the past 20 and this is our new favorite. We have stayed at most of the Inspirato and Exclusive Resorts properties in the region and this house is the perfect place for 2 couples (or 1) to relax in the middle of an active vineyard – Blue Rock: http://www.bluerockvineyard.com. Kenny the owner and his staff were wonderful hosts in addition to the high quality concierge service from Inspirato. You’ll definitely want to setup a tour and tasting right in the back yard of this awesome cottage. The house is even better than the photos with plenty of outdoor space to sit by the fire, pool, and stroll through the vines. The location is great for touring and tasting around northern Sonoma – we highly recommend Garden Creek, Da Vero, Stephen and Walker, and of course the new location of Silver Oak. Travel a little further south to B-Wise (one of the best Cabs in the region) and get a reservation for the food and wine pairing at St. Francis which is amazing every time we go. Santa Rosa airport is about 20 minutes away and we rented a few canoes for a 10 mile float on the Russian River for our last day which is just a few minutes from the airport. Looking forward to our next visit.

This was our anniversary trip and Vintner’s Cottage is extraordinary. This is the perfect “Get-Away” to relax, enjoy great people, food and of course – wine. Kenny, Carla and the Blue Rock team provide great service including fresh flowers & snacks daily and you get to experience a really cool winery and its operations.

We had a great time and look to make this trip an annual event.

This was a memorable and exciting trip. We were only the second guests to stay at the property and were totally impressed with the property and staff.

Upon arrival we were greeted by Kenny, the winery owner and Carla his hospitality manager. They have a passion for their winery and were very excited to share it with us. Kenny took us on a tour of the region and Carla did a superb job of pairing the wines, and then we were served a wonderful lunch by their chef Robert.

When you drive through the vineyards and come upon the cottage you feel as if you are in Tuscany. The cottage is well appointed and has a charm that is impossible to describe. In the morning you are awaken by the birds chirping and the turkeys gobbling. Then you look through the windows and see the rolling vineyards and quail playing in the front yard. We would take a morning stroll through the vineyards and enjoy nature at its finest. After a day of wine tasting we would again stroll the vineyards and enjoy the evening.

If you love the serenity of nature, fine wines (Blue Rock) and great hospitality this is the place for you.
